A note about beach safety: Cornwall’s coastline can be spectacular, but conditions can change quickly. Strong currents, waves, tides, cliffs and slippery rocks can all present hazards. Always check the tide and weather conditions before setting out, keep children closely supervised around the water and cliffs, and take particular care on beaches without lifeguard cover. Our guides highlight important local safety considerations where relevant, but they should not replace your own assessment of conditions on the day.
