Step 1. Choose the best place to buy a holiday home

Here at Hentervene Holiday Park, we’re proud to be a truly independent site — our one and only park, tucked away in peaceful North Cornwall. If it’s tranquility you’re after, you’ll find it here in abundance.
When you own your own static caravan or holiday home, you have the freedom to escape whenever you wish throughout the season — your very own coastal retreat waiting for you.
Here at Hentervene Holiday Park in Crackington Haven, North Cornwall, we’re lucky to be in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Our park is easy to reach yet feels wonderfully tucked away — the perfect base for exploring Cornwall’s beaches, clifftop walks, and charming villages.
If you’re thinking about buying a holiday home in Cornwall, here are a few key things to consider when choosing the right park:
- Accessibility: How easy is it to get to, and how often do you plan to visit?
- Facilities: What does the park offer in terms of comfort, space, and atmosphere?
- Local area: What attractions, walks, and beaches are nearby?
- Season length: Does the park close at any time of year? (Ours doesn’t!)
Owning a caravan here means having a peaceful Cornish hideaway you can return to time and again — whether for a spontaneous weekend or a longer break.
Step 2. Understand the costs
There are three different costs to consider when buying a caravan on a site:
- The cost of the holiday home itself
- The annual site fees to cover the cost of your holiday home
- The annual running costs for utilities etc in your holiday home

The price you see on our website covers the cost of the property itself and essential add-ons like siting, connection and safety and security. We also include a balcony in the purchase cost, so there are no hidden extras before you can enjoy your holiday home.
You can secure your holiday home with a 10% deposit.

When you are looking for lodges or caravans for sale, you will find prices for similar lodges or caravans for sale will vary from park to park and location to location.
