Crackington Haven Beach Guide

Crackington Haven Beach

Our local beach, just a short journey from Hentervene, Crackington Haven is a beautiful North Cornwall cove surrounded by dramatic cliffs and open countryside.

At low tide, the beach reveals stretches of sand, rocks and rock pools that are great for exploring. At higher tide, the beach becomes much smaller, so it’s worth checking the tide times before you visit.

There is a car park close to the beach, with toilets and places to eat and drink nearby. Should the main carpark be full, there is another carpark just up past the pub with an honesty box upon exit. £5 all day.

The beach has 2 lovely cafes, and the local Coombe Barton pub.

Our tip: Crackington Haven is particularly worth visiting at low tide, when there’s more beach to explore, but the beach even at high tide is never densely packed.
